“That was brilliant. They arrived a week early, which was a blessing as the U&O garage door they came to fix was pretty difficult for me, as an oldie, to open.

“Booking process super simple and straight forward, I was called the same day by a super polite man (sorry can’t remember his name). Mick arrived earlier than time given, he said he finished the job before, that was great for me. He is really professional, had all the right tools, and just got on with the job. It’s important to feel comfortable with tradespeople in your home, I have had some horrendous experiences but not this time thankfully. Mick put 3 alcove shelves up for me. He was super quick and charged what I was told it would be. Brilliant job and looks fabulous, just what I wanted. Absolutely fantastic service!

“First time using Surrey Handyman. We had a smallish bathroom repair to lights that required some wiring, plastering, redecorating etc. The sort of job that building firms turn their nose up at or mess you around. The sort of job that has more than one trade requirement so sometimes finding a handyman can be tricky. We tried Surrey Handyman and sent through a few photos with a brief description. We were so impressed with the management / booking process that we went ahead and booked. Khal turned up and absolutely grafted. Took him three days in the end. He barely stopped. He left the place cleaner than when he arrived. He was eminently trustworthy, one day due to work complications we left him some keys and he just cracked on by himself. He wired, built studwork, made good and even managed to salvage old tiles and quartz from the repair so he could re-cut and reinstall. We were delighted and would absolutely turn to Surrey Handyman again for any jobs from little annoying bits to smallish building works. Brilliant. Glad to have found them. Even the payment process is transparent, quick and efficient.”

“We have now used Surrey Handyman a few times for various jobs. They are always on time, get the jobs done to a good standard, and what they quote for the work is what you pay.

The most recent thing we needed sorting was some electrical work. I gave Maz a call and he informed me they have qualified electricians too, so it was perfect!
After a quick chat, I sent Maz some nice clear pictures to show what was required. One of their electricians, Ben Howard, provided a very reasonable quote.

Ben, as we have experienced with all of Surrey Handyman’s team so far, arrived on time and ready to get things done. He came fully prepared with new fittings and the things required to do the jobs, thanks to the clear pictures and list of work to be done.
Ben was very professional, while being relaxed and approachable. He took the time to explain things clearly and was very patient with me asking questions I am sure he’d heard a thousand times before.
His work was to a high standard and his advice on some future jobs was very helpful.
When he’d finished the work, he also did an additional last minute job, that I’d only asked for advice on, while he was here free of charge!

Great guys! Very down to earth, and they don’t mess you around like some contractors. If there is an issue they sort it and they make sure you are happy with the work before they leave. They also ask that let them know at any point if there are any problems after they have gone.

Highly recommend Ben for any electrical work, and obviously Surrey Handyman for job around the house.”
